Ogilvy & Mather Group UK has promoted Emma de la Fosse to the role of chief creative officer.

Partering with the Ogilvy & Mather’s UK chief executive Annette King, De La Fosse will be tasked with improving “creative integration” between the firm’s agencies following the group’s unified move to Sea Containers in January.

De la Fosse is currently joint chief creative officer of OgilvyOne alongside her creative partner and husband Charlie Wilson having been appointed to the role in 2014. The pair joined the agency as executive creative directors in 2011.

During her tenure at the agency she has picked up a string of awards for her work on campaigns for British Airways, IBM, Cancer Research UK and more.

“Emma is courageous, curious and has a brilliant creative mind,” said King, adding: “Her knowledge and experience span direct, brand advertising, digital and tech, a rare mix of skills that enable her to develop the very best work from even the toughest of briefs.

“Clients love her passion and energy. In this new role Emma will work with the group to develop further our creative product and help the teams work on briefs without borders for existing and new clients.”

De la Fosse said of the move: “At Ogilvy we are very fortunate to have an incredible mix of specialist talent under one roof at Sea Containers House. I’m looking forward to helping connect all those clever people together to deliver world-class creative solutions for our clients. These are exciting times. ”
